Nathan vs. Veganism Rd. 2: The Reduction of Suffering

Here we have our second episode featuring my brother, Nathan. We talk about whether he should feel more concerned about animals, how to communicate with people effectively by acknowledging their narratives, and how Nathan doesn’t have to go vegan because really it’s all capitalism’s fault… or something like that.

Ethan vs. Veganism: Discipline and Longevity

Ethan and I worked together at a Japanese restaurant. The pay was poor and the job was dirty, but… they kept us drunk enough after the shift not to think about it. And anyways, it was fun. But it was not vegan. And neither is Ethan. What a monster. Cool guy, though.

Mansi vs. Veganism: Mageirocophobia

In this episode, we speak to my businesswoman friend Mansi. Mansi is a bundle of joyousness. She is always emanating positive energy. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her become upset or speak rudely. She’s highly-intelligent and deeply compassionate in most areas of her life which is why it’s interesting that she chooses to kill innocent baby cows and steal their mothers’ milk. Let’s find out more!

Savio: Our First Protagonist

Savio and I only met in person very shortly once or twice— but the small interaction I had with him made a lasting impression on me that I could never entirely articulate. Largely, it’s because he made me think about the reality of the dairy industry and thus helped move me towards veganism. Specifically, he pointed out that cows need to be kept constantly pregnant and that calves are separated from their mothers as regular practice.

I’ll also lend compliments to Savio’s personality. I think there are some people who live and speak honestly in such a way that their presence imbues moments with a special color. Enjoy this GALACTIC PREMIER of the very first episode featuring someone who isn’t a dirty animal slaver.

Let’s gooooooooo.

Chris vs. Veganism: The Moral High Ground

Chris is the co-founder of a successful and powerful musical non-profit called Found Sound Nation, which brings people from around the world together to create positivity and compassion for each other through music.

Really, he’s one of the nicest people I know that pays to have animals tortured and/or slaughtered at the hands of cold commodification and toxic, ignorant quaintness.

Ronak vs. Veganism: Existential Defeat

Ronak is an old friend. He’s a talented artist and one of the most intelligent and rational people I know– especially among those who consume slaughtered innocents out of convenience or boredom.

In this episode, we discuss the challenges of taking reality seriously. Ronak feebly attempts to battle the truth through appeals to normalcy, futility, convenience, and taste. Like a glorious, graceful arbiter of righteousness, I DELIVER THE COSMIC BALANCE TO RONAK’S MIND-BRAIN.

I’m vegan, by the way.

Jeremy vs. Veganism: Deer Overpopulation

Jeremy is an old friend and one of my favorite people in the world. He has a huge breadth of nuanced knowledge across a variety of topics as abstract as spirituality and concrete as history.

He’s an extremely kind and compassionate person outside of paying to create real-life animal nightmares. He’s also an exceptional musician. At the end of this episode, he introduces me to a vegan band he was a part of that I now use as the outro to every episode.

Nathan vs. Veganism: The Consciousness Hierarchy

My brother Nathan was easily my greatest inspiration as a young kid. I always thought he was the coolest, smartest, funniest person I knew. I would often mimic his actions completely– I’d play the same video games, make the same jokes, and wear the same Halloween costumes.

I still think he’s one of the most honest and caring people around. So in this episode, I tell him I think he’s immoral and needs to change a fundamental part of his perspective.

We discuss a hierarchy of conscious beings. Do crickets deserve our compassion? We talk about super-intelligent aliens. We talk about priorities and whether veganism is worth the time and effort.

Miles vs. Veganism: Food Deserts and Barbecue Social Pressure

In this episode, we force our views down the throat of our lovely guest, Miles Bridges. Miles is a musical artist and web developer. He’s an intelligent, honest, and compassionate person. Despite all that, he pays for animals to be slaughtered so that he can experience chunks of their corpse’s flesh in his mouth.

We explore the things holding him back from becoming vegan. They appear to be fish, barbecue, convenience, and ignorance. I politely SLAM HIM WITH THE FACTS.
