Savio and I only met in person very shortly once or twice— but the small interaction I had with him made a lasting impression on me that I could never entirely articulate. Largely, it’s because he made me think about the reality of the dairy industry and thus helped move me towards veganism. Specifically, he pointed out that cows need to be kept constantly pregnant and that calves are separated from their mothers as regular practice.
I’ll also lend compliments to Savio’s personality. I think there are some people who live and speak honestly in such a way that their presence imbues moments with a special color. Enjoy this GALACTIC PREMIER of the very first episode featuring someone who isn’t a dirty animal slaver.
